This application is fairly straightforward and does not contain any hidden features.  Its function is to create a simple one-page contract for performing musicians which can be printed out using any desired font.

TO PERSONALIZE FOR YOUR OWN USE:

Start with a new file by selecting NEW from the FILE menu.  Enter your personal information in the CONTRACTOR INFORMATION window; select the desired font from the FONT menu.  When you quit Contractor, these settings will be saved in the file "Contractor Preferences", which MUST be kept in the same folder as Contractor.

IMPORTANT:  Do not re-name the file "Contractor Preferences".

The next time you select NEW, the CONTRACTOR INFO window will contain the information you entered, and the FONT menu will show your selected font with a check mark.

USING CONTRACTOR:

NEW -- Creates a new file; your personal information will be displayed in the CONTRACTOR INFO window.

OPEN -- Opens a previously-saved file.

SAVE and SAVE AS -- Work like most other Mac programs.

PRINT -- Prints the contract.

FONT MENU -- Choose the desired font; the last font you use will be saved, so that you will not need to make this setting the next time you use the program.

WINDOWS MENU -- Select any of the three menu items to view that window; the PRINT PREVIEW window is scrollable, and shows what the contract will look like once printed.
